I remember talking about about Gores book in his Book thread. It was said that just because they sell the book does not mean they back it. However I found this statement on their (PPH) site.

Very disappointing! They consider this book DOCTRINALLY SOUND and Biblically faithful!
We keep hearing how they have or are changing. How can that be when they are CURRENTLY selling books like this?

If we have visitors who come with beards we hand them scissors, and razor. We are New Covenant church. Away with the Talmudic look.

I once tried to explain to a pastor that I'm not wearing a "beard", because when you're as good looking as I am, it qualifies as a, "modesty standard".
