How did God protect his people during the Egyptian plagues. But again, there is not much cataclysmic going on until the very end.

They were not protected until God separated Goshen from Egypt from the 4th plague on.

Nevertheless, they were not objects of wrath, and were protected. We need not read a secret rapture into the text that is not there in order to ensure God will take care of his people. This does not mean, as one false accuser and teacher claims, that post-tribbers believe there will some sort of bubble or force field around God's people. Such statements are misrepresentations and meant to sow discord.

Christians often die now in natural disasters such as earthquakes and typhoons. Does that mean God did not take care of them? No. So certainly that will not change during the Tribulation. But nowhere does it say that all Trib saints are going to be killed by the Anti-Christ. Just as miracles of provision and protection happen now as God decides, so will they happen then.

So, most trib saints will get killed by the antichrist and tortured by the "scorpions". except the days are shortened, then no flesh will be saved.

The 144,000 Jews will likely be killed mid trib.

It is just a mess.

No wonder Jesus said it is unprecedented in the history of the world or ever will be.

Nothing to look forward to or glory in for post tribbers.

Secondly, this is about the search for Truth and not trying to find the least painful outcome or result.

If you believe the church will face the great tribulation and wrath of God, then yes, you believe God to be a bride beater and spouse abuser.

There is a major difference -- which some still cannot comprehend -- between trials and persecution by men and the tribulation and wrath of God.

We are both okay with dying, but being killed by satan's antichrist is not okay.

God let's him off the leash to get folks.

Also, God's wrath kills most of earth's population, which is not how I want to die either.
