I agree. Unfortunately, the powers that be are insistent that no matter who is POTUS, no matter what party or platform or policy they've held ... every single one in my lifetime has become engaged in a conflict in the middle east.

obama talked a lot about peace and fixing relations with foreign governments, only to become the Drone Commander in Chief. Trump talked big during the election, but now that he's POTUS he's singing the same tune every other one has ended up singing.

Yesterday, there were reports the Trump admin was reviewing plans for an attack against N. Korea. China supports N. Korea, which is why I believe the attack on Syria (which happened while Trump was welcoming President Xi to Mar a Lago) was a message to China as well.

Trump doesn't issue idle threats. I'm glad he doesn't, but it's a little scary as well.

I agree that this is a message to China and North Korea, as well.
In my opinion, we need to take out North Korea.
They are a bigger threat than China or Russia.
Just make sure their missile capability is destroyed or South Korea will pay the price.
Which they may anyway, depending on which way the NK army swings.

N. Korea isn't much of a threat. They can barely lob missiles into the ocean. "Bigger threat than China or Russia"???

I don't believe so.

Just keep paying whomever is sabotaging the rocket launches and N. Korea won't be a threat.

I'm tired of "taking out" countries. And no, I don't want my kids or any other American soldiers dying over some dumb conflict.
