So are we talking about the Hindu Vedas or the Christian Bible?
I didn't write the Bible, but as the scriptures speak the nun didn't make it.
Christianity in this country is getting real vanilla and from this we have doctrines fall to the wayside. Is Jesus God? "Well, God is really bigger than that and he really doesn't care if you believe He is God."
Will someone go to hell if they're not baptized in Jesus name?
"Well, grace covers and I will leave the judging up to God."
What other religions talk that way? Eastern Religions? Very good boys and girls everyone in class wins a cookie.
Dogmatic means to hold true to whatever dogma your religion teaches.
Let's see, is the Nun Mother Teresa cooking like waffles in a hot iron?
Then my question would be is Ghandi, Joseph Campbell, and Carl Sagan burning in hell?
Sadly there are those who make comments that those three are burning in hell because one is a Hindu, and the three others are atheists.
On the other hand Mother Teresa is singing and shouting in glory when she didn't adhere to Bible teachings of Christ.
Did she do good deeds? Yes, did Ghandi? Yes! Does God have mercy? Yes ONLY on those who love Him according to His word.
I look at it this way, adults are going to do whatever they very well please, believe what ever and whenever, but young people should be given straight up and right information and then from there run with the ball.
My father was a good atheist and I had good times with him, but he was wrong when it came to the things of God.
Brothers and Sisters Christianity in this country is suffering not because of men in long sleeve shirts or women in dresses, but because of those who want to make something user friendly that was never meant to be user friendly. It was meant to be full aged mature.
If you buy a motorcycle and ride it all the time and never put oil in it you will blow the top and bottom end. If you have a warranty the manufacturer will take the engine apart and give you a bill. You may ask why you had been given a bill for 2,500 dollars, but they will tell you right quick that it was your fault and that the manufacture is NOT responsible for problems caused by the negligence of the owner of the motorcycle.
Spiritual and Biblical negligence is the same thing and if we keep seeing warnings signs and don't get our good stuff together then it will be all on us.
Yeah God has mercy if we had been making sure we were checking our oil.
Don't check the oil and God gives you the bill.
In Jesus Name
