Re: Papal Visit Nonsense
I would imagine Kenneth Copeland was there as well. He's visited the Pope at the Vatican and has had a Vatican emissary speak at his church.

I share your sentiments Barb, perfectly. I have not watched the speech or heard the man speak. But it is so sad to me to see people worship a man like that, when Jesus is the ONE who deserves our worship!

Re: Papal Visit Nonsense
Warren, Copeland, James Robison and Joel Olsteen have also had audiences with the Pope and have spoke in various Vatican-led conferences.

Thanks ND for helping me remember the name of the guy who I remember last year was friends with the pope, and who spoke to Kenneth Copeland's church. This man, Tony Palmer was hailed as the beginning of something amazing between the Catholic and Protestant churches. He was later killed in a motorcycle accident. Not a coincidence, in my opinion.

Re: Papal Visit Nonsense
This man was killed in a motorcycle accident just a few short months after this address from Pope Francis to Kenneth Copeland's church.

Re: Papal Visit Nonsense
Tony Palmer addressed the Copeland church in February, and was killed in July of the same year.
I watched the video, and heard about this man's nonsense several months before his death. He was very charismatic and appealing in his address. And it was scary to hear the people in the congregation accepting his message.
I think this is a warning for those who would try to compromise with a religion that has set up man as its god, instead of the Lord Jesus.

Thanks for the article link. I thought he was an emissary of the Vatican, but as the article states, he wasn't even Catholic but somehow became close with the Pope.
