The article link below here says for 2015, violent crimes is up in Phoenix as well, but it gives no percentage of how much it's risen. There is literally at least one shooting in the news every day here now. Just this morning, an officer was almost killed making a routine traffic stop. Fortunately, his vest saved him from the two rounds which hit it.

Yeah in Milwaukee we recently passed last years total. The mayor and police chief tried to attribute it at least partially to concealed carry, which became lawful in Wisconsin a few years ago.
