Not wishing to be argumentative, but wondering...if someone on your job or an old school chum or an unsaved family member asked if you lightened your hair, would it matter to you enough to write about it here?

I believe she was monitoring/policing. I don't think it was out of curiosity.

So, if you look cultish what does that mean at the end of the day? I mean I read and have Bible studies out in the open in a public place in a major city. People think that looks cultish. So, what should I do? There are women down here covered in tattoos to the point they look like a Yakuza boss. They look cultish? Believe me, if people come to our church and they think its not their cup of tea, they have an entire South Florida to seek for the church of their choice, and whatever they find, there will be someone who will think it looks cultish.

Just make sure their hair is not colored.
