The discussion was not about rumor, innuendo. or gossip. It was about a con man who got caught and convicted of his crimes. He may well truly repent and make things right with God but anyone thinking of looking to him as a spiritual leader should beware of his past. His kind are not a sinner finds God and becomes a new man story. His is a story of someone claiming to be a preacher who was deceptive and a criminal while doing that. His crimes should see the light of day. That will not effect his salvation if he has truly repented but it will keep potential future victims eyes open if they are foolish enough to entrust their spiritual leadedrship to him.
