iIsn't it amazing how joining an internet discussion forum gives us spiritual x-ray vision so we can know of a certainty, for example, that another internet persona is actually evil and running from God?

BTW, I was using the wayback machine looking at the old FCF. It was actually a smaller community of posters. But most of those posters were actively involved in ministry of some sort. Not as many armchair theologians pontificating their gripes and definitely not as many people opposed to pentecost in general.

I am still here.

I do not want the conservatives or the liberals to leave this forum.
It does no good to have only one side in here giving their opinion.

to some people I am a conservative and to others I am a liberal, I guess it all depends on which issue I am for or against.

The way I see I am not conservative or liberal, I am biblical.

I teach from the bible and only the bible and if the bible says one thing, then that is the one thing I teach but if the bible does not say something, then I do not teach that.

perhaps because I am so consistently only teaching from the Bible, instead of what some organization or denomination teaches, is what causes me so many problems.

I do want both people who are from different Pentecostal backgrounds to voice their opinion here, so that perhaps I can learn something or that they may learn something.

i think Pents are like everyone else--mostly good, quite a few great, and a number of hypocrites. One's heart becomes revealed in their speech; Scripture even verifies that we will be judged by our words. I don't like to see any group being judged by its most vocal members, or its most hypocritical ones; but this, obviously, is how we often judge.

Even Pentecostals, the self-professed keepers of Acts 2:38, who quite often demonstrate that they have not a clue by their self righteousness and false humility. While that hardly describes most, or even many Pentecostals, it sure seems to trend among the leadership. So, just keep talking about how many got saved and experienced glossololia that Sunday, and ignoring how many old saints left the church that month--i don't care.

Keep justifying why you're above giving me a reply to some sincere question; i already knew the answer anyway, same as you. I'm just prepared to admit that i could end up in hell if i'm not careful--like Isaiah, perhaps--while you rest assured in your wisdom. The duck nailed it, wadr, as much as i dislike generalizations. If the shoe fits, do your best to point out someone else's bare feet.
