Prayers for my husband Don - Page 3

Wow... so today was a nightmare. Don had incredible pain in his right knee all day while the left knee was completely comfortable. The anesthesiologist came by and said he thinks the epidural went way to the left and there was no nerve block on the right... the ortho guy says he did a LOT more work on the right too... so yeah, rough is an understatement.

To top it off I have my first real live throwing-up-migraine in a few years (since menopause)today from stress and lack of sleep.

Finally Don is now comfortable after we prayed awhile and he had a LOT of extra drugs, I am full of the Holy Ghost, Ibuprofen and Tylenol and we are going to take a nap now. Hoping for a better day tomorrow.

Thank you so much for all the prayers, we can feel them.

Quick update. We are still in hospital. Don is having a blood transfusion tonight. They are trying to get his and our sons pre-donated blood. Please pray it arrives quickly. Thank you.

The doctor prescribed high dose anti-inflammatory meds and blood thinners together. Don developed a GI bleed and had to have two units of blood last night. Our big concern was that they could not find the autologus (self-donated) or the pre-donated blood from our son that we had banked and I did not want him to have blood bank blood unless there was no other choice.

We are going today to donate another couple of units.
