I have a very strong opinion on the TV issue and hold to and believe in conservative "holiness standards". I have no TV, I dont watch movies and don't ever intend to. But to me this is an issue of not just personal preference or conviction. We are dealing with murder here..this is the ultimate comprimise for the church. This is the same reason i just cannot be affiliated with the Republican party.
We wrestle not with flesh and blood.
The weapons of our warfare are not carnal.
If you live by the sword you will die by the sword.
Combatant military service is in direct opposition to everything the NT sets forth for Christian lifestyle. When Jesus commanded us to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature...i just can't equate that with going into all the world and killing those who don't fit our political, religious or economic agenda.
It's a hot topic for me and I just can't understand why so many in the movement are ok with it. I believe the apathy and indecisiveness surrounding this issue is one of the worst sins confronting the present day church. It just blows me away really. Let me say with for clarity's sake.
It is Casey Lee's deepest conviction that no Christian has the right to take another human life under ANY circumstance!
K...i'm done!
