DB, I am wondering if you agree with what Romney is saying here.

I didn't refer to Islam at all, or to any other religion for that matter. I spoke about three major threats America faces on a long term basis. Jihadism is one of them, and that is not Islam. If you want my views on Islam, it's quite straightforward. Islam is one of the world's great religions and the great majority of people in Islam want peace for themselves and peace with their maker. They want to raise families and have a bright future.

There is, however, a movement in the world known as jihadism. They call themselves jihadists and I use the same term. And this jihadist movement is intent on causing the collapse of moderate Muslim states and the assassination of moderate Muslim leaders. It is also intent on causing collapse of other nations in the world. It's by no means a branch of Islam. It is instead an entirely different entity. In no way do I suggest it is a part of Islam.

When I posted I was referring to those on this forum who have shown no compassion for our dead.

The dead don't seem to matter just any thing to bring down Obama.

At lest you would think a pastor would have a little compassion.
I'm confused as to how anyone is not showing compassion for the dead???

Having outrage that Americans were killed and not hearing the American president stating any plans to assure this does not happen again, is your opinion of not showing respect?

Shallow thinking not to understand this is all political and was planned.

Light, what is your solution? More apologies? Sanctions? Blaming Americans who are exercising their freedom of speech to criticize Mohammed?

I realize four people are dead and it took 16 hours after the attacks for BO to make any kind of statement. He's the president. The buck stop with him. I have a right to criticize his policies and actions of apology and appeasement.

Did you Dems turn Iraq and Afghanistan into a source for criticism and politics while our troops were in harms way against George W? Absolutely. Did it for years. Give me a break.

You always have an excuse for your behavior. You sound like a child. Well so & so did it. Both Republicans & Democrats came together because of 9/11 & for months after.

You cry like a baby because the president didnt inform you for 16 hrs. How stupid are you? You have no idea what traspired in those 16 hrs. before he spoke in the rose garden.

Yes I critised Bush about the war in Iraq. A war that had NOTHING TO DO with the DEAD ON 9/11.

Light, the fact that your responses always go ad hominem exposes the weakness of your arguments and the lack of substance in your counterpoints. I get it. If it makes you feel better.

I simply was pointing out the hypocrisy of your defensiveness for BO while you made the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan political while people were getting killed. I cried like a baby? That's being a bit overdramatic. But okay, you have no argument so, go ahead. 16 hours is a long time to respond it seems to me. But maybe the full story will come out and I'll eat my words. However you act like I have no right to voice my opinion. You liberals are all about how tolerant you are---except for those who disagree with you.
