I think the debate is stupid.

America should lead the way with regards to environmental standards, clean burning fuels, etc. A clean and healthy environment is a good thing.

And... IF global warming is taking place... do we really want to be the ones who poo pooed the problem when it turns out that because we didn't lead the way... it's too late???

Any idiot in my opinion can tell that nature brings environmental changes. Any idiot can also imagine that ever increasing CO2s can only add to the problem. Now... what to do about it... that's up for debate in my opinion. But to me... I look at my son and wonder.... What if we're wrong?

Besides the biggest opponents of global warming data are those corporate powers that would suffer the most from regulation. Hmmm... that's a no brainer too.
