Romney is a lot smarter than that. I wonder why he is flip-flopping so much that it causes grave concern to conservatives? That is like handing the election over to Obama, then put all the blame on the voters who have no confidence in him to cast their vote for him.

You supporters of vote-Romney-to-vote-against-Obama can blame all the hold outs you want if Obama gets re-elected, but the real blame is on the GOP for their choice of candidate and the bullying of people.

Directing or requiring all Americans to be responsible for their own healthcare is not the worst thing since polio.

That's exactly what the healthcare law does-- forces people to be responsible for their own healthcare insurance, which in the long run will ultimately ease the personal healthcare costs and burdens from the government to individual citizens and private companies.

There's good and bad with healthcare reform, but to compare our reform to what the article is speaking of is not congruent.

Righto!

The economy is in the tanks. Jobs are flying out of this country faster than are being created. The unemployment figures are not accurate. Some economists are saying the real unemployment rate is in mid twenties...like 25% because after all benefits are exhausted, people just drop off. They get discouraged.

So.. in Mississippi...unemployment benefits are approximately $250/week and you must be available for work (of course) should a job arise. How many mortgages/rentals are there for even $500/month? Then there are utilities and gas, food. How can people afford medical insurance on top of the rest? Oh...I get it. You just don't eat. When you get sick , you will have medical insurance though.
