You really have to educate your children about strangers that are any where. The sooner the better.

Only 12 percent of the child molesters are caught, the rest are out there.

What people don't understand about these people is this;

Number one they appear to normal and hold positions which are respected in a community.
The other thing that people don't understand about them is they did not get up one day at the age of twenty and decide they wanted to be with a young boy or girl, they were like this since childhood.
That is where these people begin and where they come from, so,, what does that tell you???? it tells you that your children are not even safe around other children. So!!!! teach them while they are young and teach them completely in every area.

Not only just on this subject but all the issues in life too.

If you don't have the knowledge and understanding there are plenty of references out their to understand the human mind and human behavioral traits.

Satan as Jesus declares; walketh about seeking whom he may devour, he has come to seek and to destroy that which is good/.

We need to be sensitive to the voice of the Spirit that we may survive and know when the enemy is near our door!!!!!!

And you are exactly right/

We as Christians act sometimes or are told by others, that teaching our children about the sexual ills of life is not a holy thing to do.
I have always believe that we need to make them aware of the evil and perverse things in life.

People try to send their children to christian schools thinking the kids will be ok there. Maybe better but not ok, this can happen any where.

We are always trying to find some tool to fix life's problems, or some formulas that can be applied, when the the answer is in teaching them the truth in plain terms and showing them the facts of life in every area that they will encounter as children and as adults.

Sorry about the figures I can't honestly remember what materials they were in. I attended a class as a law enforcement person several years ago which dealt with the molestation of young girls and boys by family members. During that course several studies and percentages were produced and this one particular fact that was given and I have always remembered it.

As being in law enforcement for 36 years I have always wondered what makes the molester function. I once spoke to a physiatrist and asked her what made these people do what they do? She replied that it begins at childhood and goes on through out life. She expressed that these subjects never change and as life gets older for them then there are changes. The problem is not in the the chemistry of the body it is in the mind.

Then again there are various kinds of child molesters that are attracted to various age groups and genders.

If I run across that material I will be more than glad to provide you with a copy.

To make things clear, I do believe that Jesus is big enough and powerful enough to heal and deliver these people!
