Yes, believe it or not, the ultra conservative guy said all that, LOL.

But with eveything there is balance, so if you are going to really love this friend, then that love should motivate you to not only live as Jesus in front of them, but to also share with him your concern for his soul. Out of your love, not out of any judgement.

If you're living like Jesus in front of him, then you'll be the best friend he ever had....

But I still say your not supporting him, :-).

One upside is you can probably get some great decorating tips.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

I always thought it would be funny to expose someone of their most vile inner sin at their wedding when the minister says 'if anyone has reason that these two should not be wed speak now or forever hold your peace'.

Re: Support of something you oppose...

I have had a couple of gay friends. They try harder than many straights to be sensitive to other people's feelings. I just cannot be mean to them just because I don't agree with the lifestyle. There are ways to disagree without being disagreeable. There is always the chance that they will have change of heart, but ultimately that is their choice to make. We can only pray for any of us that is doing something that is not pleasing to God.

just agreeing with Jay and Robbins, kind of.
You felt it necessary to declare your "orientation" to me two hours after we met? or ever? why, again? ya, the opposite of that, whatever that is.

Yes he knows and we talk about it all the time. He and his partner go to church all the time and they are very spiritual.

One thing I am not is preachy, not even a lil. I'd say that all my friends know I believe, follow, and worship Jesus, IDK if I've ever asked them to join me at church like some do. I'm very serious about my faith and it's my faith. I share it with others when they ask me about my ideals. But outside of that I don't do anything but love people.
