Catholicism is not Christianity. It is a religious pagan hybrid. Should explain why they walk as they do.

Oh, I don't know. I know some apostolics (many actually) who are true Christians. I know some baptists who are true Christians. And I even know many Catholics who are true Christians.
In our town the Lutheran pastor jokes about how the Catholics and Lutherans can fellowship together because they both enjoy drinking and smoking. The Methodists are liberal but they draw the line at drinking INSIDE the church. So he says they only partially fellowship with the Methodists. And they can't fellowship with us or the Nazarene's at all because we don't drink or smoke. Little does he know! We don't smoke. That's really frowned up heavily. But we do drink - just not to excess - like the Lutherans and Catholics do

Just wondering, with you guys (OPs), is it like in the Assembly of God, where the rhetoric in sermons and teaching (and in conversation with certain people, oh, like, say, pastors ) that "we don't drink"? But it was an open secret that "we" actually do. Not everyone, of course, but it was funny how many of us did.
In my case, we made an effort to keep it secret. A few close friends knew, and that's about it (though I knew, or suspected, that there were other secret clubs besides ours ) Had beer in the shopping cart one time, and spotted a friend from church cashiering -- so we very carefully steered the cart to another lane without her seeing.

Idolatry and christian don't coexist.

Naw, I'm not saying one group excuses another. Just that there are real Christians in both groups. To say otherwise is to engage in a horrible double standard. That's all I'm saying.
The fact that they had no qualms about doing this in the very area that had been used as the sanctuary of the Almighty, and their flaunting of their bodies seems to indicate that the salt is rapidly losing its savor. It used to be that even partial Christianity used to be enough cause people to become separated from the world, but now it is showing that it has lost its power to truly change people from their immorality, pride, and public sensuality.
Modern American Christianity has lost its power to change people, if in fact it ever had any power to begin with. However Christ is just as powerful now as ever. The biggest problem is Christianity is to America what Paganism was to the Roman Empire in the 4th century AD when it made "christianity" the state sponsered religion. Contempory Christianity norally features unregerate pagans who verbalize the name of Jesus, give lip servce to the gospel, and live like the world. Reason being.....they ARE of the world.
