I could not say either as I am not a preterist, in whole, part, or any other fashion.

I'm starting to realize that this is somewhat true. I was reading something by Bro Irvin Baxter the other day and realized "This sounds like partial preterism!"
One thing I have realized is that you can't box in and really give a concrete definition to 'preterism'. It seems like everyone has their own version! I would not consider myself preterist (full or partial), but I suppose there are some things that I believe, that some may label as some form of preterism. I'm def a premillenialist, no doubt about that. I do believe in dispensations, but my beliefs don't line up with those of most dispensational premillenialists. In eschatology, I would consider myself more of a historic premillenialist, however, I'm not sure that I understand how historic premillenialists and dispensational premillenialists differ in their view of redemptive history throughout the ages.

Re: Preterism and Communion

I am a premillinialist, but fall under the pessimistic pre-tribulation rapture understanding of Scripture. Basically saying, I believe that Jesus Christ will return before the commencement of the millinial reign and hope that He returns before the tribulation. However, I sometimes find it hard to hold to that view, especially in light of current events. I have heard others who fall in my view point express the veiw like this, "I hope that Jesus comes before the Tribulation." Many of us are beginning to do a little recaculating of our stand on prophecy, since we see the world rapidly moving toward the rise of the Anti-Christ.

I used to be a pessimistic pre tribulationist as well! lol I completely understand where you are coming from, and I am definitely seeing a shift of many brethren toward a post trib rapture stand point, or at least the possibility of one. The more I study the more I am convinced that Jesus will return ONCE for His church at the end of the tribulation. I'd love to talk more about that but I must leave for work! lol

Re: Preterism and Communion

A Partial Or Moderate Preterist certainly can observe the Christian ordinance of The Memorial Lord's Supper in anticipation of The Lord's final appearing or return.Kingdom Eschatology is a better term,I feel.
