Speaking of Amityville, I saw an article a few months ago where that house was on the market for roughly a million or so.
Even if it was $100k, no, thank you!

Even though the murders there were real, it has long since turned out that the stories of it being haunted (which the movie was based on) were a complete and total fabrication.

I wouldn't care at all. However, if it were like the house on American Horror Story then I would have to re-think it....

Ya, can you imagine getting up at 2 or 3 in the morning and running into this in your hallway? Sure, it may be kinda cool the first time or two but I'm pretty sure the novelty would wear out fast.

The poor young boy will be messed up for life.
Anyway, the house went on the market very cheap. 5 bedroom 2 story house with an in ground pool. Went for about 40-45% of it's previous worth.
I asked my wife if she would live there, she said not a chance. Myself, I think I could had it not been a woman and especially a child that was murdered, but for those reasons I could not. If it was some guy that shot another guy I could. But this guy stabbed repeatedly his own family members, just sickening!
Anyway, what about you all, would you do it if it were say.....$5.00?

Yes! Why not? I'm not a superstitious freak! A rapist or murderer could have tried on the clothing you're wearing now! How's that relevant the the warmth and shelter your clothing or house would provide?
I would move into the house, dim the lights, light some candles, and call on the spirits......... hummina.....hummina...hummina..... beetlejuice...beetlejuice.....beetlejuice
