I am in the great white north in Canada, and we tell men to go behind the barn and holler until they lose any effeminate voice they might have. In -40 cold, too!

I've heard preachers preach that back in the old days, men would take an effeminate man out somewhere and beat some sense into them.
A few years back, a guy I won to the lord won someone who was gay.
He received the HG, was baptized, ect ect. The single females in the church circled him like predators. It didn't change the way he felt, the thought of being with a female turned his stomach.

I am sick and tired of attending these church events and see all these girly men prancing around within the church. Whats even worse is they are generally accompanied by an instrument on the platform?
Where have all the real men gone?
How feminine is too feminine and when does a guy with an intentional lisp fall under this portion of scripture?
The effeminate shall not enter the kingdom of God.

I don't know how much "feminine" it takes to be too feminine, but girly men grate on my nerves. It's hard to quantify, but some things that get me:
a prissy walk
wrists bent like thisAttachment 3535
passive or weak behavior
drama...from men
whining
indecisiveness
too much interest in fashion, e.g., metrosexual
lack of interest in women/failure to commit to relationships
Most of these things are subjective and we could argue them one way or the other, but most of us--especially women--know a girly man when we see one. Gay or not, a lack of testosterone is unattractive.
We've totally emasculated manhood in many areas of the church. Young men are often taught not to even think about girls or they'll burn in Hell. Women become an obstacle instead of precious human beings to be desired, cherished, and loved.
I'd take the ol' "boys will be boys" culture where boys grew into real men any day.

I visited a church that had a "hunting club" once. It was great. These guys were really into Biblical manhood. And the women were sweet as pie... and tough as nails. lol Everything seemed in place.
