Not at all, because it has to do with places of authority. Priests are in the center stage because the anti Catholic sentiment which had been in this country from its inception. One has to remember George Washington was a closet Catholic, to understand how anti Catholic this country really was, and still is in some areas. But priests aren't the only ones who have taken advantage of those they were supposed to protect and lead.
