I can point out dozens of semi-bitter folks who went to UPCI bible college just to find out all the good positions were taken up by pastors sons and son in laws.

For me it was a waste of time/money for the most part.

..aw,..c'mon. Not bitter,..just realized the facts after graduation! Besides,...I'm right up there with good ol' Sam. I was in the very FIRST "pioneer" class of Texas Bible College houston, Texas (think it was like 1961). So us "old-timers" remember a thing or two,...........and know that the bible colleges can't go on finacially in today's economy.

If the UPC schools fail, it won't be due to the world economy. Without the ability to use their degrees for more than a wall decoration, people will continue to turn to secular schools. BTW I graduated from ABI.

I know many degrees and schools are places where students have unrealistic expectations.
