Re: Paying For Tax Cuts...

We have 8,000 open resumes from the US alone. Otherwise, our community is mostly Americans.

I meet American expats all over the middle east and more are coming all the time.

Call it nonsense if you want to. You are not here and I am from there and one of us knows what he/she is talking about while the other one is sure he/she is.

Call me unpatriotic if you want to. I still work and still pay taxes which puts me and my family above the 50% of "patriotic" americans who enjoy america and contribute nothing at all to the welfare of the country.

Re: Paying For Tax Cuts...

Slam America? I dont think so. I do take every possible opportunity to slam the arrogance on this board though.

I also take the opportunity to point out that you are in fact NOT better nor are you better off. You have only convinced yourselves that you are. You are actually in pretty sad condition compared to what I have seen of the rest of the world. Just sayin'

And exactly where do you see Americans or the American government approving of the above mentioned?

So, you have some anecdotal evidence.
Where are the actual statistics stating that the line is long to get out of this country? And I don't mean people who are seeking jobs, I'm talking about people who want to change citizenship.

Re: Paying For Tax Cuts...

After this point you are free to do your own research. Suggested is this: Research then share your opinion.

There are (3) categories of Americans moving out of the country.

1. Retirement. Booming trend. Retirees moving to Asia, South, Central America in record numbers. You're going to want to check it out I dont have time really to disprove a negative LOL.

http://www.allbusiness.com/society-s...4753386-1.html Here's a hint!

2. Jobs. Goes without saying and since you have come to realize that you could be potentially buried in jobs evidence I note you not so cleverly removed that category from the table. Why do you think immigrants come up from Mexico and other places? Your "not for jobs" category? Good grief.

3. Disgust/taxation. New trend actually

Waiting periods at overseas consulates to renounce citizenship are growing.

If you have any other questions consult your fellow americans on the expat forum and ask them, one by one, how they are doing and if they feel they are better off having left the US for other opportunities. As we did before we left the US. I otherwise have little time to address baseless opinions.

Re: Paying For Tax Cuts...

Even with all of its flaws and weaknesses, I would still rather live in the United States than anywhere else in the world...except maybe Texas. (Just kidding) We are blessed here and hopefully will return to our fundamentals before we completely lose our identity.

Not one word of this says the line to get out is long.
You talk about my opinions....you take every opportunity to slam this country, do you get some kind of satisfaction of coming to an American Christian forum to let us all know how horrible this country is and to defend your kind of faith?
What is the point, wii?
