Hey, about 80 of my family got together today... us menfolk were gathered around chatting in Penn Dutch German when I told them about my online acquaintance who performed circumcisions for "ten dollars plus tips"... even my staunchest brother-in-laws got a huge kick out of that!!

I checked English as my first and only. I had three years of Spanish in High School and I know some French (which is a shame since I have many relatives who speak fluent French.)

I hope you are teaching your children Pennsylvania Dutch. It only takes one generation to lose it all.

I'm surprised that more haven't said they don't speak English at all. Coadie, for example. I can't understand a darn thing he says.
