I just don't see him in the particular position of GS. That's all.

LOL! I KNEW you were going to say that. I could hear the comeback in my head before you even posted it.

It's not about "charisma" -- lack or abundance of it at all. That doesn't factor into my reason and hunch that he'll never be a GS.

But then what do I know? I don't know him personally and am not in the UPC. The more knowledgeable men who are and who know what kind of man one needs to be to occupy that particular position ..... their opinion would count more than mine for sure.

I know he is well thought of.

Joe Montana was a great quarterback.

He probably would have made a lousy offensive lineman.

Right ... and so every receding GS were great quarterbacks and linemen ....

He as qualified as Goss ... Chambers ... Urshan ... Haney ... His international experience perhaps outweighs some of these men ....

A quality that should be desired in the United Pentecostal Church INTERNATIONAL

Harry Scism did well as FMD.

Would you have liked him for GS?

I really don't know Brother Howell; I was just trying to point out that doing well in one position doesn't automatically make a man suited for another one.

Brother Howell is a great administrator and consensus builder. He has accomplished a lot during his time at WEC and is one of the most "real" men I have ever met.

The position does not rule him, he rules it. It has not gone to his head. I like that.
