Going to war with Iran is a stupid idea. It's a tactical nightmare. We are already grossly over exerted and incredibly financially in the hole already without trying to go to war with Iran.. A War that would be strictly air campaigns
It's a lot harder to invade Iraq. Iran did not go through a gulf war at it's low point. Instead since it's war with Iraq it has had all those years to build up arms. It would be a complete blunder.
However if there is a real need for a war, it would only work as a coalition of nations instead of the cowboy mentality we have in the US

If we go to war with Iran, I will do all I can to reenlist back into the military-- but then again, I ahve been thinking of doing that anyway.

I won't attempt to back it up.
I just think that it is laughable for the GOP to be the party of "family values" and "morality" and have so many examples of people falling way short of that-- while casting the Democrats as murderous and perverted mongrels.
