Angry Re: Rob McKee does not believe Affirmation Stateme

DAN! I normally like what you post. It gives me something to think about, pray about, study about.

But dang it! You are messing with MY pastor now. He and Shara McKee are two of the sweetest kindest people that you would ever meet. I do not think that he or the staff at the POK went into TV ministry without lots of prayer and fasting.

Brother McKee has stated over the pulpit that the Apostolic Doctrine will be upheld on the platform so that the people that see the programs will know that the POK is a different church. And it is a very upbeat church.

I do not agree with everything that Brother McKee preaches or teaches. But he believes and lives EXACTLY how he portray's himself. Shara McKee is as true as they come. Never do they put down, critique, or make you try to be any different than you WANT to be.

The only thing that they ask: if you want to be in Ministry.....Uphold the Apostolic Doctrine that THEY believe is right. Dress holy, hair to be uncut (although there are those ladies that DO wear hair pieces which LOOK cut, which is one of my pet peeves.)

I think that if Brother McKee decides to sign and uphold that stupid Affirmation Statement, he will do it to the best of HIS ability. He pastors to the best of his ability and does not bully those who need to be a little different. He and Shara McKee love each of us the same.

Okay. Rant over.

I so love the McKee's. Even though I have been on the Platform (I was part of the Praise and Worship team for a year) I stepped down due to me starting to go through a divorce. They did not want me to step down. I stepped down because:

1. I did not want me going through a divorce to in any way effect the unity that was on the platform. My husband and I still go to the POK and he was and still is on the Praise Team.
2. I have a teenage son that was watching everything I did and I did not want to send mixed messages to him about what I believed.

I like you Dan. As I said, I enjoy each of the things you say. You are funny. And you can mess with Lee Stoneking all you want. I do not know him. I don't like his "constant" preaching on Ladies Hair. (if he was a lady and HAD hair, then MAYBE his ideas/thoughts would be different) So....mess with LS all you want. BUT LEAVE ROB MCKEE ALONE....please!?

Dan, you know I think the AS should be thrown out with the garbage.

Are you willing to take other UPC preachers to task as well for signing the AS? How about Rex Johnson? Did he sign the AS? Why not start a thread on him?

You still haven't proved how Rob has used the AS or the WeDeclare statement to directly bop a teammate over the head. Has Rob used these things to bring someone before the district board for reprimand? Has he ruined someone's reputation with these things while all the while he doesn't believe them himself?

Please, prove this statement of yours.

Re: Rob McKee does not believe Affirmation Stateme

okay Dan...you win...Here's your trophy...congratulations. I can clearly see now you are not motivated by bitterness, you are simply fighting for the truth of the affirmation statement. I'll get you a copy so you can sign it too.

Dan, I don't know who it was that did you or your family wrong but...wow...you've got to get beyond this...

Was your father a minister with the UPCI? Who's UPC church did you attend? That might explain your fervent web campaign.

Was Bro Stoneking your pastor? Is that why you are so focused on him...(creating websites...blogging...etc.)?

While most may only know you as "the web guy that hates Bro Stoneking"...I believe your life has got to be about more than this. Man...don't let bitterness against people define your life. I prayed for you this morning.

I don't know if that is his goal (it sure seems like it is). His motivation may not be "hate" but he could definitely be classified as a "hater" of all things UPC.

There seems to be a pattern.

I think Dan just has very strong opinions. Every person has them and Dan just projects his opinions more. I am okay with that. But not him messing with MY Pastor!

As I said in the first posting, I like what Dan has to say. It does give me something to think about...DAILY. Dan is fun to banter with. I HOPE that Dan is not a distroyer. DAN!!! are you reading this? Tell people that you are not a "hater" or a "distroyer"
