I just laughed out loud in my early Sunday morning living room. I'm finding this discussion fascinating... I remember when DA came on the scene and how some of the people I thought would love him just couldn't stand him (such as my friend formerly known as Carpenter)... I'm by no means a DA disciple, in fact we live in the same city and we've never even met and rarely interact, but I've always thought his only fault was being too honest...

Honestly is only viewed as a virtue if we agree with it. (This should go in that quotation thread)

DA's initial arrival, and yours, was before my time. And even though your own personal honesty has landed you in a different world than mine, I admire your honesty, as well. I wish you posted more.

You may call Elder E a "bully-tyrant" and that is your right. I am not conservative, moderate would be more like it, and I didn't agree with everything he said or the way he said it.

But even many on this forum who disagreed with him, in particular, those no longer on board the Mothership, have more respect for him than to call him such a thing.

It's ridiculous...

And how typical to assume that because some may disagree with Dan and others means we do not believe in grace, or that we think they are evil.

I am saved by grace, believe in grace, and witness of His grace whenever possible.

To assume otherwise is untrue.
