Not a fan, but a defender of her right to correct mischaracterization.

Re: The Race Card Again???

I'm soooo sick of people using the "race card"! I think it should be made a crime to use it!

Do YOU think she is playing the race card?

Whatever card she's playing, it's clear she's not playing with a full deck.

Re: The Race Card Again???

The Tea Party does have a perception problem, regardless of their platform.

At times, the GOP suffers from this perception problem too.

I was a bit shocked to hear Meghan McCain express this opinion of the TP.

I do think had Sharpton said what she said, there would be more "righteous indignation" spewing from all cracks and corners of the "right".

I guess Sharpton has more clout than Meghan McCain.

Then you know, Sharpton is a Pentecostal preacher-- maybe that's why the "right" respects him more than McCain.

"People who would not even spell the word vote or say it in English put a committed socialist ideologue in the White House...named Barack Hussein Obama," he said.

Yes, that's right. The president is a socialist, his supporters illiterate.

Today, Tancredo stood by his comments. "These people didn't have the slightest idea about what America is all about, about the Constitution," he said. "And they went and voted!"

FTR, I don't think Tancredo's remarks here were especially "racist." They are wrong and without class though. Who are these that "can't speak English" and are illiterate that he accuses of voting in a Presidential election? Very harsh words showing very little faith in the American people. Not exactly Jeffersonian.
They are not racist. A lot of whites voted for BO. But he has a point when Acorn goes out and enlists voters to vote for BO, many of whom needed help to register. We have a pretty illiterate nation. Our schools focus on social agendas more than the basics needed to succeed in the work place

BTW where did Tea Party come in and did anyone ask her if she knew what "innate" means?
