His eyes were rolled back in his head in separate directions and his tongue was hanging out. By the time the assistant pastor made it to him, he was blue. I just started screaming "Jesus!" and screaming in tongues. That is all I knew to do. They took his body out of the church and soon the pastor called me outside. My friend was alive. He regained full conciousness in the ambulance on the way to the hospital, talking in tongues. I asked his doctor a few days later why he was grey and blue. The doctor told me that it was because he was dead.

Ummmm.... is our worship so strange that someone could have a grand mal seizure, have their arm twisted to their chest, eyes rolled back in their head (in separate directions mind you), with their tongue hanging out... and we think they're worshiping?
Dear Lord...

But you do have a point. Could this be some sort of "troll action?"
It seems to me that she probably had heard of your site or otherwise had heard the phrase being thrown around and she just internalized it without much thought. As A.Q.P. pointed out, this whole story seems to have been motivated by a bunch of emotion and little thought.
Don't get me wrong, I wish the family well and hope the young soldier does well in his service, wherever that service takes him.

The emphasis is THE EXPERIENCE in this culture ... looking for it's next emotional and spiritual high.
It can be deflating and frustrating when things during the week dont' pan out like the rodeo-ride on Sunday.
Pero queda Cristo ... but Christ remains.

Yikes ... it shows how out of order ... some are.
I've heard of seizures being confused with demon possession but Holy Ghost rolling?
It all smacks of cultism.

Me either.
I'm disturbed at how insane this stuff is getting. Has Pentecost lost it's mind? The Charismatics are starting to look level headed, cool, calm, and collected compared to this mess.

I've always heard that the worst time to have a heart attack was during charades, but I guess that wasn't a good place, either.

My thoughts too - I just didn't want to get that part stirred up!

So weird.

So.... basically.... if any woman wants God to intervene on her behalf, she needs to THREATEN to cut off "her glory".

I can just see it! "Fred Sanford! "I'm coming to join you Elizabeth!' Am I right? Hello? John?".
