You are right, but you know what the UPCI is not ruller over all and they should not stick there noses in there. But the truth is they could. Their ball play by their rules.

Uhhhhm, excuse me? Stick their noses where? In a church called by the organizational name, that claims to abide by the organizations rules?

There are a lot of complications. If you have a church that has been UPC for 50 years and the only UPC church for almost 100 miles it is very hard to just leave over something like advertising.
There are traditions that we as a church body aren't ready to give up. And the men in our district have no desire to see our church out of the organization.

I was just illustrating a point I made to JTULLOCK on another thread about how little "policing" of policy adherence the UPCI does. He indicated that the UPCI would go in a church who advertised on TV and wasn't preaching truth and yank their membership...or reprimand them or whatever. I was like  .
