The guys involved in Texas are Republican. The former DA is facing charges.

Not fluff at all to abuse the rights of the citizens of your own county and state by pulling them over and literally taking the money out of their wallets and purses and using said money for "seminars" in Hawaii.

Talk about civil rights violations!
Where's your source for the bolded part. The former DA is still employed in the office. He's facing lawsuits, but I've seen nothing about charges. What they did was, according to TX law, LEGAL. How can you be brought up on charges for something done that's LEGAL.

You may not like it, I think the law should be changed as well, but the bottom line is - regardless of our opinion - the law is the law and until the TX Legislature changes it, nothing can be done. I don't believe people should be harrassed and taken advantage of like this.

Stop trying to shift blame or ignore the fact that real corruption is going on by both Democrats and Republicans. Your blindly biased nitpickings don't change that fact.

Again, post the source for the DA having charges against him and that these are Republicans ... because I haven't found it.

I'm praying for him too. The only thing, his posting style gives his Texas roots away!
