Uh, for President Obama and First Lady to fly to New York for a dinner date would push that limit. Factor in Secret Service cost, Air Force One cost, et al.
They were shopping for a meal and entertainment.
No apology necessary.

It criminalizes the uninsured. How does forcing everyone to buy health insurance insure lower premiums for everyone?

what happens when increased competition is able to provide a servide or produce much cheaper? You have 2 outcomes, either the competition are somehow able to lower their costs or....they go out of business

Give me an example of anything the government has gotten involved in and the cost went down or the service got better.
This rationed care you love so much is going to cost much more and you will get much less.
