I don't have a problem with him bowing to anyone. He is certainly showing to be inferior to other leaders, so it is quite appropriate.

If he wasnt POTUS I would agree.

In fact once he is out of office, we need to pass a law that he must bow to dog catchers.

but right now he represents AMERICA and America was founded on the Enlightenment ideals that all men are equal and that birth is not a grantor of superior rights.

Least the nuts come out here, the only time GWB bowed was to the Pope.

The pope is a religious figure and as such it is perfectly understandable for someone who reveres the pope to do so...

I would not but it is understandable.

That is not the same as Obama bowing (for the second time) to a head of state.
