That's one slow scanner you got there, either that or one long article.

LOL. I'm stuck at "work" at the moment. Gotta finish this "week" off before tonight so that I can have a nice long weekend that starts tonight!
If someone wants to beat me to it - go for it. I'm just saying, that the rule Stephen mentioned is a great and ethical way to handle most postings - in fact virtually all postings of articles, etc. But I specifically asked the editor-in-chief of the Herald about just this sort of thing back when the web was first beginning to blossom and he said to "spread the word."
Also, Raymond Crownover owes me. Big time.

Justin, Yes! It was the beginning of the "last days" for the old order, old covenant. The writer of hebrews says what is "old and passing away." And what is old and last days for one is new and the "new day" for others. We are in the kingdom reign of Christ. Awaiting "until his enemies be made his footstool" thru the church, and then the fullness of the kingdom. The predominate teaching of "jesus-could-come-at-any-moment" has crippled the church and caused them to retreat to the 4 walls...instead of speading the gospel into the "marketplace" and the first form of government/order/priesthood the family.

Re: Finally! A Great "Prophecy" Article in the Her
The article may not be preterite, but it shows wisdom in exposing how appealing to events of today witness of the imminent return of Christ will, in the long run, get people get totally turned off prophetic issues when they realize those events were not what scripture referred to. That is the danger of some futurist teachers.

True and I have witnessed this. One bro. told me we don't even need to read Revelation since it is all already fulfilled. Thats just dumb. Where it in the word....? (I could look it up, I think Titus) where we should still anticipate the coming of the Lord despite some who say "the Lord delayeth his coming."

I put up with him for a brief time.
No... kidding! He's a great guy. The Baron knows him too.

I sneak into UPC churches during the altar calls and rummage through the literature racks.
