Re: Sis. Alvear's grandaughter is a Holiness preac

kids can sure say things that get adults worked up can't they. poor little thing had no idea what she said was going to cause adults to get all heated.

Kids are kids and they say what they think. If they are taught something they will make conclusions and speak them loudly. They are kids. I heard somewhere once that one women told another, "I'll not believe what your sons says to us about you if you promise not to believe what our son tells you about us." Kids do tend to embelish things with their own ideas. I think the Alvears are well balanced and the child will grow up and understand what is right and wrong without being judgemental of others. Allow her to say the cute things that children say, you got your chance let her have hers.

I love kids. They are honest and sincere. Some of those people probably needed to be told that. Some spend big bucks on watches. =)
If I worried over everything my boys said in public I would be a basket case. They have gotten me into some pretty funny and sometimes messy situations with saying what we have taught them. AND ALWAYS WITH CHURCH PEOPLE. =) They just say what the perceive as truth. As they grow they learn.
If it helps, I do not see eye to eye with you on a lot of things but I did not get offended or feel you were trying to get a dig in or any such thing. I would like to think I understood the thread for what it was from the start. Maybe because I am not so far from having young ones myself. Or maybe because we have a lot of young ones around us with family and friends.

Oh good grief man, get over yourself. You want to make me a hater of those that are good.

I think the world of Sis Alvear and even think the world of you, Steve.

I also imagine it was "cute" seeing this liitle one going about checking for braclets.

I ONLY stated that it did not sit well with me to see a little one trained up to be judgmental in this way.

I know you won't even put a chrome barreled pen in your hand and I expect you would teach your young uns the same.

BUT while you are teaching this to your uns, it might be good also to teach them not to go around inspecting the pockets of every person they run into to see if they have a shiny pen in their pocket.

Sis Alvear: I should have just let it go and not posted, for that I am sorry.

Re: Sis. Alvear's grandaughter is a Holiness preac

We are called to judge righteous judgments. with the same judgments we judge others, we ourselves are judged. Discernment/Judging are needed in the Body today. Only Laodicea speaks out against standing for what is right and what is not.

Re: Sis. Alvear's grandaughter is a Holiness preac

The little baby has no idea what holiness even is...give her a break! No one is teaching her to judge anything her uncles likes to kid her he has a braclet and she tries to take it off...I really don´t care for those type jokes but everyone is different.

Re: Sis. Alvear's grandaughter is a Holiness preac

May I ask that all do NOT use my granddaughter to make points on whatever side of the fence you are on...I think this is far out...using a baby...

I would be the last person on earth to teach a baby to judge...to many judges in Pentecost today...a baby would not know what is righteous judgment or what is not righteous...and many of us do not know either...

Maybe we all should go and learn about mercy...
Sorry if I sound hateful but something far more deeper than a peice of jewelry bothers me about some folks that were at that conference...
