From your perspective there would be that need but I doubt it from his (or mine). Outside old time Oneness Pentecost most Pentecostals see the baptism of the Holy Ghost as an empowerment, not salvational.

If GWB is a Christian the world is in pretty good shape. I have seen ZERO statements by him confessing to the world that Jesus is the Son of God. I have heard him various times declare Islam as a great religion and a religon of peace.
As stated I find him likeable and we share a few of the same political views. But nonetheless one and all must FORSAKE ALL if they desire to be a disciple of Jesus Christ.
In a Presidents case that would have to at bare minimum include at the very LEAST confessing him before men. Yes I have read articles on his faith but never in a televised speech have I heard him mention the name of Jesus.
He does make mention of the generic God that all nations and people believe in. On nationwide TV during the debates he could not say homo sexuality was a choice. No I dont believe he is a disciple.
My hope would be that IF he received the Holy Ghost it would be manifest in some of his statements. You know confessing Jesus. Talk is not everything but it is something and Jesus said if we will not confess him before men he will not confess us before the Father.
