Anybody dealing with Nancy Pelosi needs to be felt sorry for. I have a feeling dealing with the idiot Democrats is going to turn GWB's hair a lot greyer than anything else he has dealt with.

If GWB is a Christian the world is in pretty good shape. I have seen ZERO statements by him confessing to the world that Jesus is the Son of God. I have heard him various times declare Islam as a great religion and a religon of peace.

As stated I find him likeable and we share a few of the same political views. But nonetheless one and all must FORSAKE ALL if they desire to be a disciple of Jesus Christ.

In a Presidents case that would have to at bare minimum include at the very LEAST confessing him before men. Yes I have read articles on his faith but never in a televised speech have I heard him mention the name of Jesus.

He does make mention of the generic God that all nations and people believe in. On nationwide TV during the debates he could not say homo sexuality was a choice. No I dont believe he is a disciple.

My hope would be that IF he received the Holy Ghost it would be manifest in some of his statements. You know confessing Jesus. Talk is not everything but it is something and Jesus said if we will not confess him before men he will not confess us before the Father.

MTD,
When President Bush mentions that Islam is a great religion he is doing that, mainly, for two reasons:

1. He believes that there are two factions - radical and non-radical.

2. He doesn't stand against all of Islam to avoid a massive Jihad in our country. That doesn't negate the fact that we have "cells", he is just not going to heighten that for our country.

The proof will come when Laura Bush starts wearing her hair in a bun!

You must not be very well read then because I have read numerous interviews where he talks about the work of Christ in his life, being born again, etc.

In fact his faith was one of the main criticisms the left had about him in 2000 and 2004.

You are right CC1. I watched him sitting and making the statement, "I base my decision for Iraq on the Bible. I believe all men want to be free."

No one would fault him for good diplomacy. You can respect a mans religon because it is what he has chosen. But a real disciple will confess Jesus is the LORD. Tho he may respect others views he will not be ashamed of his own whether they be male or female small or great. A disciple of Jesus will confess him openly.

If it's true that Pres. Bush got the Holy Ghost baptism it will serve in making him a better President.

Wish our Prime Minister could get prayed through.
