What has liberal have to do with being a christian??
If Jesus was living now and running for office you would not vote for him because he would be called a trouble maker he eats with sinners. He wants to help the poor.

He may have eaten with the sinners but I don't think He condoned the sins. I don't think he condoned abortion or performed same sex marriages either.

I think this subject is not as cut and dry as we like to think.......

I don't agree. Anyone "could" vote for whomever they want. Should they is a different question.

I don't think helping the poor is only a conservative or liberal position. They disagree on HOW it should be done but not that it should be done. The difference, in general terms, is that one gives man the fish and the other encourages him to fish.

McCain is just as equal in regards to abortion as Obama is. He seems to be the most liberal Republican yet.

Did you watch the faith forum? Obviously not.... go watch it on YouTube, unless it's above your pay grade.

I just saw the forum and see your point, and concede. I admit I was going by hearsay on this. Thanks for the note. That being said, will McCain change the picture and make policies that actually decrease abortions, or not like Bush? I doubt it. These guys say lots of things, but when it comes down to it they do nothing different.

It's true... it really boils down to the judges they appoint with matters like this. Honestly saying you don't preform litmus tests is stupid, you can find two equally qualified people on each side. I find it humorous that people think thats a big deal.
Yeah, McCain says he wont hire based on litmus test but based on qualifications but you know he will make sure he doesn't hire Pro Choice judges... all else being equal I am sure you can find two equally qualified judges on both sides.
I was just very impressed with McCains response, he didn't even waiver. Granted I am not the biggest McCain fan this definitely gave me a little confidence in his morals.
