Okay, I'll just go to bed now. My defense team is on the job.

So what did you think about the children using the "C" word? That should keep you up a little longer.

I wish I could say bad things about those children, but I must confess that I have a bad habit of saying the "c" word. I've gotten better, with practice at biting my tongue, but in moments of distress, "God bless you" or "Hallelujah, angels among us" are not the first words out of my mouth.

In fact.

One night I was teaching my Sunday school class...(Okay, you can't hold this against me, I'm a pretty good teacher, and usually a sterling example of class and godliness.... )

Um. My stories have too many details, but I feel I must fill you in.

My object lesson had to do with mud, and I don't remember the exact reason for the object lesson...but the kids were supposed to dip their hands in a big bowl of mud, and then other kids were trying not to get dirty when they held hands, and...well....

Anyway. For some idiotic reason, I wore white to class. Yes, white. A white skirt and a white sweater. *dumb* And I accidentally splashed mud on the front of my sweater, and muttered, "Oh, c***" and then moved on, without really noticing what I had said to myself.

Later in the lesson. Serious appeal to the children to allow God to change their hearts. So I said something to the effect of, "We've all done things we need God to forgive us for. I have, you have, we all need His grace." BHILL's son raised his hand and said, "You mean like that bad word you said earlier?"

"Uh, yeah, just like that. Let's all ask God to forgive us for our sins--including that word I shouldn't have said." *sigh*

Altar calls are harder to give when you're guilty, too.

Little kids are hard to condemn when they probably heard their Mommy say the "C" word.

You are a bad girl!!!! In front of the children? Don't you know how to say it in Spanish?

I'll have to tell you what I said to my husband about a grippy woman at church tonight, but I'd have to PM you. Hahahahahahahahahahahaha! I was surprised he didn't get mad at me. He must have been tired. Hahahahahahahaha!

When I was in High School I babysit a child that said he had to "grunt". I'm like, "Sheesh, what is wrong with this kid?!"
