IMO, any criticism of Obama that comes from a white mouth is seen as racism from blacks. It is as if they can't see the tree for the forest. Race has nothing to do with my opinion of Obama. I would have voted for Condi Rice or Colin Powell.
I am also tired of everyone touting Obama as black when he is only 1/4 black. His father was 1/2 African and 1/2 Arab. Obama is more white than anything. A flaming ultra liberal white that I refuse to vote for. He needs a category of his own. Even the democrats aren't as liberal as he is.

I don't believe his father was 1/2 Arab. He was African.

Do you believe in bearing false witness against people? John McCain says you just repeated a lie.

As McCain says, if you have disagreements with him on fundamental issues, then I respect that. Lying about him is another story.

George, I happen to be black and happen to know many black people. I have seen many posts here by black people and I don't get the impression that any and all criticism is seen as racism. Are there particular posts you were referring to or is that just your impression in general?

In the context of American history, he's considered to be a Black man.
His father is not Arab, he's African.

Obama's father was born on the shores of Lake Victoria in Nyang’oma Kogelo, Alego, Siaya, Kenya to Hussein Onyango Obama (c.1895-1979), and Akumu Habiba.[1] His family are members of the Luo tribe.
The Luo (also called Jaluo and Joluo) are an ethnic group in Kenya, eastern Uganda, and northern Tanzania. They are part of a larger group of ethnolinguistically related Luo peoples who inhabit an area including southern Sudan, northern and eastern Uganda, western Kenya, and northern Tanzania.

Sorry, I should have clarified that in my initial post. I was not referring to any post just stating my opinion from the area in which I live and from comments made by others across the country.
