Re: My lovely dog has died
Didn't you post his picture on your sig line for a while? I can't recall his name. Sorry for your loss, Pressing On.

Re: My lovely dog has died
I'm so sorry!
I'm glad that you were with him though - his last act was returning the love you had for him.
Ferd should feel terrible.

Whoever said dog was man's best friend did not lie. I am so sorry for you.

I'm so sorry. I hate to get attached to dogs and then lose them or they move on, and I always say "I HATE DOGS" and they all know I'm lying. (I actually love dogs, but hate to get attached.
Keep your chin up.

I guess that's what happened. You know I didn't actually think something was wrong with him, but when he would come in the house he would lay on the floor right away. I thought his dog training had helped him calm down, but now I'm wondering.
Thank you explaining this.

That's what my husband was saying. It was so weird and sudden, I was just trying to think of something that could have caused it.

ODE TO TEX
Our beloved border collie with hair white and black
Tex has gone and won't come back
Herder of kids and cats and cars
Once he chased raindrops, he now rounds up stars
We'll miss the little fella - and his funny tricks
How he chomped at the water and chased after sticks
He'll always hold a special place in our hearts
We'll never forget his tail-wagging barks!
But for now we are sad and our eyes fill with tears
Our hearts ache with sorrow for the pooch we held dear
Our beloved border collie with hair white and black
Tex has gone and will never come back.

Yes, he certainly did have a happy life. I'm going to miss him. I'm so sad, I can't stand it!!!
