Neither candidate it Jesus Christ, but apply equal logic to your criticism of either.
I'm speaking about the Black Liberation Theology church they attended for 20. It keeps racial tension stirred up. It's not the mainstream black worship church. The Marxist, socialist, and terrorist related people who are always saying how much they cant' stand imperialistic America.

No wonder Michelle would say, "For the first time in my adult life. I am proud of America."

Carrying anger around with you is not the same as loosing your temper.

Tim,
I'm sorry, but this post is ridiculously worded.

I'm amazed at how deluded some folks are. I think they refuse to see the truth.

Folks voting democrat just because of something Roosevelt did 70 years ago and has nothing to do with today's democrats.

I was reading an article about the Jews doing the same thing. They think of the Republican party as the elitist, country club party. And a party that doesn't reach out to diversity. So, they continue voting Democrat.

Come on Tim, you're better than this. Is this what we are teaching now, that you'll go to hell based on party affiliation?

That's not fair Stew. He said Obama, not democrat. If we looked real hard it MIGHT be possible to find a Dem to vote for that Timmie doesn't think will send you to hell.

I just resist the church sending that kind of political message at all. To make the election a heaven or hell issue is irresponsible and just as reprehensible as what some on the extreme left are doing.

Agreed. I am just hoping that Tim R just needs a little bit of practice conveying a TIC sentiment.

It's ok, and even right to teach or preach religious principles from the pulpit. And its ok for persons to express PERSONAL opinion, which Tim did.

However, I fully agree the pulpit is not the place to support or oppose political candidacies.

I don't believe it was TIC, but I do respect Bro. Tim and his personal convictions. I just think that we have made mistakes in this area in the past and we have to be careful what we say when endorsing or discussing politics.
