I don't believe it was the wrong decision - at all. Bush said he based his decision to invade on a principle of the Bible - that all men would be free!

Can't debate that answer.
If anyone looks at the whole gun control issue objectively, when our forefathers established our right to bear arms, it WAS NOT written SOLELY with the intent of protecting one's right to self and property defense.
That provision is there so that if our new government was ever to become something that violated the will of the people, the people had a way to fix the government.
Our country was born out of a violent, bloody, rebellion.
GOD BLESS THE USA!!!

Re: Gallup poll claims Obama won the debate
I saw that part. Funny, SNL's spoof of Sarah Palin would have actually fit Obama a lot better. He has rambling, unrelated, "get back to the main idea" type responses.

I guess so and they can have my guns when they pry them out of my cold, dead hands.

Pres Bush is full of baloney on this. It is established that he believed there to be a connection between 9/11 and Hussein. He was wrong, by all expert accounts.
At the bare minimum, Pres. Bush used 9/11, WMD, war on terrorism and etc, as a smokescreen to carry out his agenda.
We were not sent into Iraq to free the Iraqi's. That happened-- but it was not the sole reason for our mission. Freedom for the Iraqi's was a feel good reason for American's to latch onto and it was noble cause for people like me to feel good about fighting and for some, dying for.
But it was not the reason that we went into Iraq. I realize that, it saddens me sometimes. Reality is sobering.
