I actually never heard Jim use that term nor do I recall him posting that term. My first recollection is identical to Lady Coonskinner's... I saw it posted by Terri I believe (it might have been Vicki) but one of them was my first exposure to the term.

I am no string-bean but I am not real heavy, but SOME OF THE ONES

WHO some would call "TOO HEAVY" have some of the "BIGGEST HEARTS"

I have ever seen!! They are the most giving, precious ones you would

ever want to meet! I know them personally! I Know them well!!! I have also

seen those who are TOO THIN that hearts that are TOO HEAVY!! SO HEAVY

they can hardly bear up under the weight of those HEAVY HEARTS!!! They

are all genuine, wonderful, precious, MEN and WOMEN OF GOD!! I have also

witnessed those that had all the "Right stuff, you might say" but are some

of the most shallow people I know! Always seemed to have it easy in every

area of their life, yet no spiritual depth whatsoever! Perhaps it is not their

fault altogether! Children come out of parents, and learn from parents. and

somewhere unless God is merciful and they come into truth and God begins

to lead them and guide them by the Holy Ghost, they don't have much

chance to be otherwise! We can all improve with GOD'S help, as we walk

this journey called life! We have to but ask. Pressures of life sometimes

cause undue stress on mothers and fathers, but JESUS told us to cast it

upon HIM for HE cares for us. His yoke is easy, His burden light! He is the

ANSWER for all of us, whatever our color, size, station in life, or whatever,

He is GOD ALMIGHTY!!! HE'S OUR FATHER!!! HE KNOWS BEST!!!

Billy Cole did preach about his weight back in the 90's while visiting the Billings MT, church. Billy talk very openly about the heath issues he was having because of his weight and how it was making it hard to be of use to God, and was on a diet, he ate very little during the camp meet in MT, he was trying. My son who was two at the time ran up to Billy Cole wrap his arms around his leg and said, your fat, I almost die, Billy just laugh and said, yes I’m very fat and your very skinny . I really like Billy he'll always be a good friend.

Regardless of who said it, it evidently was started a long time

ago and should have gone away when those that started it went

away! I don't mean that as offensive at all!! But really, it would

probably go away if it was not brought up again and again.

Like problems that cause bitterness. Quit bringing it up!!!
