It's blatantly (and painfully) obvious when one examines even here .... the number of anti-Obama threads and the cutesy Palin avatars ... while others are entranced by the "Palin effect" ... little is offered as to the reasons why we should vote for McCain ... in any.

Even Rush ... is guilty of this ... once a McCain hater, most of his show now is dedicated to everything other than why he's voting FOR McCain.

So why are you not voting FOR McCain again?

If McCain's health holds up ... you are are aware VP's are largely ceremonial and powerless .... right?

You do know that Obama is not the anti-Christ, Muslim or a communist despite what talk radio and email chains feed you day in and day out ... right?

Are you voting on McCain's resolute stand on "Conservative" issues? Doubt it ... if so you'd be voting for Paul or Barr.

When you get a chance take an inventory of the "conservative" analysts you laud and how they are approaching this election ... take a look at how your fellow forumites are approaching this .... and even your own reasons why you are not voting FOR McCain ...

might be a healthy exercise ... it might tell you about THE MAN McCain. It's a campaign based on hate, negativity, pandering and misdirection, IMO.

I'll pre-baptize this thread w/ the following accolades .... for my anti-Obama/Palin voter friends ...

And yes... TRUTH HAS BEEN SPOKEN HERE.
You've presented no reasons here to vote for Obama, just anti McCain rhetoric without substance. If you want to swing the undecided you must do better than this emotional, opinion based post.

No more than I can back up that McCain isn't any of those things or a fascist in waiting.

C'mon Mizzy ... are you telling me that there are more Pro-McCain posts/threads than anti-Obama posts/threads on this very forum??? Or how this principle doesn't apply throughout cyberland and radioland?

Give me a guesstimate on the ratio?

Just pointing out a very obvious observation .... Mizzy ... that was the intent of opining on it on a discussion forum.

I know very few who are voting for McCain because of his conservative stance ...

So .... are you voting FOR McCain??? ... and please give us reasons sans Obama and Palin ... just for a change of pace.

Mizpeh, that is the same point I've been trying to make here for months...only in reverse.

Who is trying to swing anyone any way??? ... that would be akin to converting folks here to smoke a dooby.

The religious right has made it a sin to vote otherwise .... I've read just as much from many here.

So much truth in this .... it's scary.

To some it doesn't even register who the man is anymore ....

Look Daniel. I think it is careless of any person to NOT look at Obama's background and associations he has and has had.

At Harvard Law School, Obama was a star. The president of the Harvard Law Review is typically offered an opportunity to clerk for one of the Supreme Court justices.

How did the president of the Harvard Law Review end up working at a small Chicago law firm that did the legal work for one of Chicago's most notorious slumlords?

When he was interviewed by Chicago Sun-Times asking if he was still friends with Rezko he says, "Yes, with the caveat that obviously, if it turns out the allegations are true, then he's not who I thought he was, and I'd be very disappointed with that."

We saw the same way he distanced himself from Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

He uses people and moves on.

So you are voting against Obama, too?

More poisoning of the well.

Totally AGAINST!!!! I'm voting for an American and I don't consider Obama a true American. You haven't done your homework, obviously.

You are starting to look like you are voting solely on race. JMO.
