Ron, My dad was a Mason.... some say they have researched the Masons and found all kind of demonic junk.
well, personal experiance tells me otherwise. my research was to ask my dad who was a mason and is an Apostolic. He tells me the "research" is a nonsense.
My grandfather was a commited Baptist. He was also very high up in the Masons until his death.
so was my great grand father and my great great grand father.
what I am saying is, when someone tells me to research the masons and I will find bad stuff, I tell them that I know masons, and there is no bad stuff.

Well, Ferd knows that I don't agree with him on this, but that's ok. I'm sure his relatives are great men, but there are satanic undertones in everything about the Masons. I have lots of research material and books on it, and it's very scary. They are so close to Mormonism in their rituals, and very secretive. We have people who have come out from the Masons, and they will tell you a very different story than Ferd's dad does. I'm not saying he's not being truthful, just maybe that he didn't see some of it.

Ferd, I can respect that. I can believe and know that your dad is a great man for choosing Apostolic over tradition.
I was won to the Lord by an ex Mason and he came to the Lord two months
before me, and before he got the Holy Ghost or attending Church he was telling me about it's occultic practices.
As Sherri said, you may not have seen it but there is an element of it.

'tis true, Sharri and I have gone around this mulberry bush before... LOL! on this one I guess she is the conservitive!
In fact, I think when you start looking at any group that has some kind of ritualistic practices, you find they borrow from others. they dont take the meaning behind the action but they take some form of the practice.
Kind of like Christmas tress and painted eggs. there is no way you will convince me that my celebration of Christmas with the tree and gift giving is pagan worship, but the form comes from pagan tradition.
I think what you have in the Masons is much the same thing.

There they can find plenty of fault.
I had a dream about the masons 2 months ago?? I have considered joining them. They do good for the community.
If you joined would you have to ride a goat?

I discovered when an uncle died a few years ago that he was a Mason. His funeral was the strangest I have ever been to. The church service was an ordinary Christian one but the graveside service was a Mason one and very disturbing.
A Mason recited a very long ceremony from memory that sounded like a cross between new age gibberish and Christianity with a bit of paganism thrown in for good measure.
I had a very bad feeling in my spirit the entire ceremony.
