I've been a member there for some time now.
I've tried to not post anything too controversial.
Then tonight when I tried to log in I was told my membership had expired.
I was given the option to apply for membership which I did.
I then got an email giving me a link to follow to apply for membership.
I did that.
I then received the following message:
Your request is now complete.
Thank you for your interest in joining Everyone's Apostolic. If your request to join is accepted you will receive an invitation within 48hrs. If you haven't received the invitation within 48hrs, please check your spam folder.
Sam- you obviously don't know the secret handshake. I don't have any interest in joining a forum where I have to jump thru hoops to get accepted. Swear alligence to this or that, sign an affirmation statement, stand and click my heals together while saying, "Theres no place like home". Then when or if I get accepted, have to carefully word my posts so I won't ruffle any feathers.
Thats why I like AFF. (Best forum on the web). Its got its faults but, overall, I like the people (well, most of them), appreciate the freedom all have to post what they want, and, most of all, I appreciate the fellowship. The Adminers here are good folks who give us all the chance to moderate our posts. That freedom is worth its weight in gold, and thats why we (especially ME) should excercise reponsiblity in posting. Everyones Apostolic doesn't seem to be EVERYONES Apostolic- only the chosen few who meet the "standards". So. I'm not interested in a "secret" or exclusive club. I like the FRIENDS in Apostolic Friends Forum!

I went there to visit. I got invited , signed in, and the site looked to confusing and too much activity so I deleted myself . I don't think it is worth all the trouble. I 've heard you get censored if you go against the "Apostolic mainstream flow".
I don't use it as a forum like this one. I am on there to stay connected to the people I know. I only got onto the chat or discussion area 1 or 2 times and didn't really like the setup so never went back to it. I don't think it is supposed to be a forum like this one it was set up more like EC was and they got the chat going later.
No doctrinal discussions
No immunization discussions
No fluoride discussions
No discussion in the military forum about the places you have been stationed.
Don't mention your business, that's advertising, "delete." It is only allowed on your profile page.
Be careful about your political opinions, some of those get deleted too.
No house church discussions (your whole forum and YOU will get deleted for that one, forget keeping it on your profile.)
Discussions are deleted left and right over there. It's not a glitch in the system. It just sounds like *someone* has WAAAAY too much time on their hands.
Oh, but forums about the "next Harry Potter series", "Twilight" is allowed. A book series about vampires and occult garbage. Last I saw, there were *2* forums for that topic.

I don't think I have posted anything out of line, but I really don't go there for the forum discussions. I don't like the set up they have. I do enjoy the chat room though.

That seems to be the overall sentiment, but I haven't been banned yet (though I have had a post deleted).
I'm just not that interested in participating in a one-sided discussion where from the start you know who is going to come out looking good and who will be discredited. Sigh!
Of course I was banned, which is always hilarious considering they seem to allow a few radicals to keep posting -probably in order to allow a "seed" by which all the other conservatives can rally around in mutual condemnation and "amening" of each others posts.
