"You guys", in the sense of those who are Neo-Conservative Zealots. It may or may not directly apply to you bro.
Since I was the one who made the mistake of posting this, you generalize everyone else as a neo-con? Ferd pointed out that this wasn't true in its entirity to begin with and are you also labelling him as "you guys"? Chris, you're making the same mistake as I did in assuming with only one critical difference, I fessed up to my mistake of assuming that this was correct. Can you do the same? I've never seen you do it, and don't lie and tell me that you don't assume or make the mistake in thinking that you're right in being a neo-lib.
!Why you should never vote Republican! They always seem to go off half-cocked without checking their facts. At least they didn't do that with regards to those WMDs. Oh wait...
I love making broad, sweeping generalizations. It's fun.
When I worked for Lexis Nexis I had access to CIS, all news and legal records. Up until that time I was really big on Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity. Well, I'll tell you this much....I'll never trust them again.
It's not just emails. There is a very organized effort to produce misinformation throughout the United States Political system. And here's the deal...one party does it more than the other, but both do it. The political establishment as it exists today is so corrupt and deceptive a case can be made that a vote for either of the two primary parties is a betrayal of American faith and values.
Access to Lexis Nexis or Westlaw didn't show you an organized effort to produce misinformation...in fact the only misinformation was your post.
Everything that is available on there is available to the general public through other means, usually not as quick and easy but it is available. I have had access to both for several years.

Thought you
might be interested in this forgotten bit of
information.........
It
was 1987! At a lecture the other day they were playing an old news video of
Lt.Col. Oliver North testifying at the Iran-Contra hearings during the Reagan
Administration.
There was Ollie in front of God and country getting the
third degree, but what he said was stunning!
He was being drilled by a
senator; 'Did you not recently spend close to $60,000 for a home security
system?'
Ollie replied, 'Yes, I did, Sir.'
The senator
continued, trying to get a laugh out of the audience, 'Isn't that just a little
excessive?'
'No, sir,' continued Ollie.
'No? And why not?' the
senator asked.
'Because the lives of my family and I were threatened,
sir.'
'Threatened? By whom?' the senator questioned.
'By a
terrorist, sir' Ollie answered.
'Terrorist? What terrorist could
possibly scare you that much?'
'His name is Osama bin Laden, sir' Ollie
replied.
At this point the senator tried to repeat the name, but
couldn't pronounce it, which most people back then probably couldn't. A couple
of people laughed at the attempt. Then the senator continued. Why are you so
afraid of this man?' the senator asked.
'Because, sir, he is the most
evil person alive that I know of', Ollie answered.
'And
what do you recommend we do about him?' asked the senator.
'Well, sir,
if it was up to me, I would recommend that an assassin team be formed to
eliminate him and his men from the face of the earth.'
The senator
disagreed with this approach, and that was all that was shown of the clip.
By
the way, that senator was Al Gore!
Also:
Terrorist
pilot Mohammad Atta blew up a bus in Israel
in 1986. The Israelis captured, tried and imprisoned him. As part of the
O slo agreement with the Palestinians in 1993,
Israel had to agree to release
so-called 'political prisoners.'
However, the Israelis would not release
any with blood on their hands, The American President at the time, Bill Clinton,
and his Secretary of State, Warren Christopher, 'insisted' that all prisoners be
released.
Thus Mohammad Atta was freed and eventually thanked us by
flying an airplane into Tower One of the World Trade
Center .. This was reported
by many of the American TV networks at the time that the terrorists were first
identified.
I have heard that before and that would be good enough to not vote for a Democrat. If Obama would be president, we would be attacked a lot more by terrorists and they would be able to get in the US a lot easier than it is now with a Republican for President. Thank God for President Bush!!!!
If Obama would be president, we would be attacked a lot more by terrorists and they would be able to get in the US a lot easier than it is now with a Republican for President.
If you could explain the facts behind this statement, I just might promise to vote the Repub ticket.

My point is that the talking heads, namely Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity weren't telling the whole story on far more than one occasion.
