Those looking for the AMEN forum, I hear Everyone's Apostolic is accepting applications........
Hey there is a thought! I myself auctually enjoy EA. Of course I don't use it as a sounding board or debate medium. It's fun and friendly for me.
As far as AFF and it's "direction" and debates and discussion...
I am comfy. The only thing that would make it better is a Cuban Cigar.

The point I'm trying to make here is that we continually tell the members of the forum that this needs to be a largely self-moderated board. None of us admins are on here all the time, and when we are, the way we react to offensive, or perceived offensive material, is to view the Reported Posts.
I have not seen ONE reported post about the thread in question, just another thread decrying the supposed defense of demon possessed preachers, and then the follow up "Oh, it's so sad the direction the forum is going, no one is doing anything about it".
It's fine if you, or anyone else, wants to address the state of the forum, but we, as admins, can use some help and suggestions on how it should be fixed!
AMEN!
Personally, I don't have time to read every single thread on the forum. I'm a stay at home mom who is trying to keep things running smoothly at home, homeschooling two kids, trying to help my daughter who graduated decide what she wants to do with her life and get her enrolled in a secondary school somewhere to pursue that. Besides the things I do to help out at church, my time on AFF is extremely limited. Very rarely do I have time to do more than check the reported posts area, and the the prayer request forum on a daily basis. Occasionally I scan the titles in the fellowship hall forum, but rarely have time to read more than a couple of posts. Not entire threads, but single posts.
It's only when something gets reported that I do try to take a little time away from my other responsibilities to read the entire thread and speak my opinion in the admin area.
People post threads all the time griping because the admins aren't doing anything. The truth is, all of us have lives off this forum. When we do get something reported, it's taken care of. Maybe not as fast as some would like, but it gets done.
How about people start helping us out here some by reporting posts that need to be reviewed instead of everyone jumping on the bandwagon for threads that want to gripe about the admins not acting on stuff we probably haven't even all had time to read.
