Well sure. There would/will be millions killed on both sides. Russia is also an evil nation. Im saying nuclear war will destroy both nations. Altho one thing of note. They have a real civil defence plan in place. They can get many people into underground shelters. We have no such thing.

It's all part of a great cycle of judgment-rebirth-falling away-judgment-rebirth...

Those who fell under Attila's sword "knew" that it was the judgment of God. Then their descendants fell under the swords of the Avars, the Mongols, the Turks, the Germans, the Swedes, the Germans some more, then different Germans, then Russian Cossacks, then more Turks followed by the first set of Germans all over again... and in between foreign invasions they bit and devoured one another.

Today isn't much different, except as the dire Michael has pointed out, we have "better" technology. But never fear: with enough shovels...

I'm intrigued by this worldview. Can I, for example, attack Canada and annex territory to my own private domain and declare that the consequent human suffering and destruction that I cause is really "God's judgment" upon the sinful Canadians?

I mean, c'mon. They've got it coming. They have a national acceptance of gay marriage. That's gotta cost them an oil field or two in Alberta. If I gotta blow up Edmonton to get my way - then so be it.

Also, what exactly was the moral crime of the Georgians this time around? What'd they do wrong in the 1700's when the Russians invaded the first time? And the Czechs in 1938? The Poles in 1939? France in 1940... well, I'll give you France.

But these "divine judgments" do appear to be a bit arbitrary.
